THERAPISTS:


As a Therapist your personal profile and personal details; such as address and telephone numbers are apart of your registrations with www.e-therapy.com.au and we keep your personal details and your registration private and they are only available to the site administrator and the site technical staff. You are offered a public area where you can choose to write your profile for your clients and make available the information you feel comfortable sharing with clients. Once you have registered as a Therapist you have your own sub domain and therefore you are in charge of what you keep private on this sub domain. Your sub domain is also set up so you can have your own privacy statement for the clients that register with you.

When you organise counselling sessions on line you have your own sub domain and the content of the chats on these sessions is secure behind firewalls that neither the site administrator nor technical staff have the ability to access. You have the ability to share these session chat logs with your clients when and if you choose to activate this feature.

As a Therapist you may choose to use our ‘blog’ comment page; when you do this and you give personal information this ‘blog’ is open to all visitors to the site and is therefore your choice to share this information with any person who accesses ‘blog’ comments.

As we are required by law to obtain your consent to the collection of private and sensitive information we will accept this consent has been given when you provide private information to us in your registration according to this Statement, unless you tell us otherwise.

CLIENTS:
As a CLIENT your personal details; such as address and telephone numbers are apart of your registrations with your chosen therapist or therapists. www.e-therapy.com.au administrator and technical staff can have access to your registration details and we keep your personal details in your registration private; these details are not shared with any other party. We do not have access to your therapist completed questionnaires or your actual chat sessions with your therapist. Your therapist can activate access to your chat session logs; the e-therapy site administrator or technical staff do not have the ability to access your personal sessions.

As a CLIENT you may choose to use our ‘blog’ comment page; when you do this and give personal information this ‘blog’ is open to all visitors to the site and is therefore your choice to share this information with any person who accesses ‘blog’ comments.
